Thank you for saying so. I have a 6” Full Throttle Suspension kit on it. With 37” tires I have zero rubbing even at full articulation.
Just got a quote to install 2.5 level kit in the front, fuel 20x9 with 35’s nit grappler 12.5 -19 offset. The guy said it will stick out about an 1.5” and I dont want to use flares. the guy at the shop suggested not to go over 2” outside the fender if not doing a lift, anything beoynd than 2” sticking out need a lift and flares to make look good. The higher the lift the more you want tires to stick out. In my case i am using stock suspension with 2.5” level kit and those tires.
What you guys think is it a good proportion? I want to avoid having undersize wheels and tires and dont want to look wide and stock suspension would also look weird.
I’m looking at some Method wheels in a 20x9 to mount 295/65/20s on. They’re -12 offset. They wheel/tire guy says it will stick out about an inch. Could anyone confirm or deny this estimate? The truck is not lifted. I’m replacing the wheels because the PVD finish is flaking and I’m not interested in refinishing them
So the -12 offset will move you almost exactly 2" farther out than the stock 20" wheel/tire combo (stock 20's are +40 offset). And the 295/65's are a little more than an inch wider than stock. So add a 1/2 inch to each side. So by the end you'll be about 2.5" farther out than you are now. I think a -12 will end up being quite a bit more than 1" outside the fender.
