Sealing Dorman Bed Crossmembers

Sealing Dorman Bed Crossmembers
Hey everyone,
I'm placing an order for some Dorman bed crossmembers for my 2000 F350, and know the main downfall of the stock crossmembers is that they are a two-piece design allowing for crap to get between the sheet metal pieces and rust them out, and subsequently the Dormans are the same.
My question is how would one go about sealing them to keep the elements out? I was debating of getting one-piece crossmembers made up, but am unsure if that would be the best route to go monetarily wise.
Any help is appreciated!

I know a few days late but what about SEM seam sealer?
You can get it for a gun or brush on.
That is what I used when I replaced the floors, rockers, rear door post and cab corners to seal where they over lapped.
And just to make sure I used brush on bed liner top & bottom of the floor.
