I did not oil the blue seal on top of the hpop. I also wasn't sure where the small thin oring went, but the size made me think it went under the STC fitting, so that's where I put it.

Did you take the STC off the HPOP to replace the o-ring that goes on the pump end of things? That STC threaded portion needs to be set to the correct depth and torqued with a crows foot.
Sorry if this is redundant, just trying to cover all the angles.
That small thin one is belongs where you installed it, yes, so doubt that is the problem.
I actually did not touch the STC fitting at all. I went to replace it with the updated metal, screw on type and it had already been done by the previous owner. I felt it was best to just leave it alone. Hopefully that's not the problem!
I really appreciate everyone helping, trust me. I'm going to prime it when I get home and hopefully that helps.
I have a few questions about priming the HPOP and LPOP through the oil filter housing. I had to spend a few days working on my wife's yukon for her trip out of state, so I just got back to this. I removed the filter and stand pipe, I assume I need to remove the spring loaded thing that holds the filter down as well to get to the other holes. I have read the instructions above to do this, but I'm not 100% clear on which hole the oil needs to go in, and if I need to literally get fresh oil and a tube to prime the LPOP. It almost sounds that way, but I'm not sure about the whole process. I've tried searching for a video and can't find anything. Can someone help me out? I've never seen this done or even heard of it for that matter. Thanks in advance!
I should probably tell you that the oil in the truck has less than 300 miles on it.
Post #41 is where I got confused. So I can just hold down the drain back valve and pour oil in (with the filter, stand and bracket removed) and it will get into the LPOP and HPOP? I'm actually assuming the LPOP is primed well because the filter was dripping oil good when I pulled it.
I only got it to take about 3/4 of a quart before it was just sitting in the bowl. Still no pressure.
My ICP air fitting says it was delivered 1/19, I never saw it. So I'm ordering the IPR fitting while working this out.
I pulled everything off the truck to get to the hpop cover, and when I pulled my IPR out, the screen was covered in oil but the inside appears to be bone dry. I mean BONE dry. It's a brand new IPR that was replaced during all this. What if my IPR is not getting commanded? I'm not sure how to give it 12 volts and try to start. I guess I can run powe from the battery + and - as long as everything is back together? Can I try to start without any components? Like I said, this is my first diesel and I'm paranoid about doing things I would have no problem doing to a gas engine. I'm scared to even fire it without the air filter.
