No Start
I have a 2005 f350 6.0 has 585000. Installed new hpop and lpop and new ipr .pressured oil system with air don't hear any leaks. After truck done started then put truck together no start same problem as before. No oil pressure on dash. All checks goqd except not enough high pressure.

How long did you crank it? It takes a bit to get the air out of the hpop system. Like 2-3 or more 15-20 second cranks. Let the starter rest between. Have to checked icp volts and the sensor? Try unplugging the Icp on the valve cover. And see if it starts. What led you to replace the hpop? The 05+ rarely go out. Do you have base oil pressure? Take the oil filter cap off and have someone crank the engine. The filter housing should fill rather quickly if the lpop is working. How did the front cover look? It doesn't take much to get out of tolerance and the lpop won't work properly. Also if you lost a lifter the needle bearings can get into the lpop and wreck the cover. Did you check or replace the oil pressure regulator? Behind the harmonic balancer. I believe it's an Allen head to take it out. I just re read that holy miles batman!

Hi guys, any followup to this?
I am curious what the issue was that resulted in no oil pressure from the lpop.
I am having the same issue. No reading on dash. Lots of oil in the pan. Took out the oil pressure regulator and cranked engine, no oil came out. I was thinking that if the lpop was picking up and pumping oil, oil should come out of the pressure regulator bore.
This is happening on an 05 SD I recently picked up.

It should, if it doesn’t you need to find a way to read Injection Control Pressure which is the output of your High Pressure Oil Pump which is what pushes fuel out of your injectors by pressurizing the intensifier piston inside each injector. You need at least 500psi ICP to fire her up. Are you building base oil pressure while cranking? You will know if your LPOP (low pressure oil pump) is working if the cluster oil gauge builds when you crank on the key. Don’t crank too long or you will burn up your starter. Do short cycles with a couple minutes between each. You might still have air in the oil system especially if you didn’t pre charge the oil rails and fill the oil sump through the oil filter housing before buttoning everything up.
