I bought a 2001 F250psd and the headlights are very yellowed. So here I am asking for a recommendations for replacements without breaking the bank. I could go with stock, but I'm sure there are better ones.
Without knowing what breaking the bank is, I did those. By far, the best improvement i have done. If you get the harness adapter, it requires nothing but a little trimming. I can see twice as much with just the bulbs they came with. I have not upgraded to any other sort of bulb. I put them in 2 years ago april and they have no color change, or leakage. Being picky, i went to lowes and got 4 1/4" speed clip nuts for the top holes and phillips head screws so that i could use one tool to change them when that time comes.
I did the same upgrade as above, but I used the headlights from A1Auto (significantly cheaper than OEM lights, but still good quality) and the harness from RiffRaff.

Lots of options. I still have not made up my mind on a replacement.
So, until you decide, buy some Deep Woods OFF with Deet. About $2.70. Spray it on. Wipe it off. X2 and they'll look almost like new within 30 seconds or less per side. Redo when necessary. Generally lasts about 6 months.
No, that's not how it's done! I did this about two weeks ago the lights were looking really decrepit and frosty. I had been looking at replacing them. The 02-04 lights look like a winner to me! Polishing compound and a car buffer. It takes about 5 min per light. Comes out looking great as in new! I also polished the 03 Pre-runners lights. They look better than the SD lights. They also work great after the polish job.
The 02-04 lights are an easy swap, nicer lens and no cutting required. I have used the Silverstar Ultra bulbs in several vehicles and they really do perform well, much better night vision for my old eyeballs.
Whatever you do, stick with halogen lights. Led's and hid's are not meant for our headlight housings. The 02'-04' or the 05' headlights look great on these trucks.

Unless you go with projectors like I did, Then HID's are great. But certainly not in the stock housings.
