tinking noise from right side

Yes, I still hear it. Sorry for the delay in response.
It is mostly parked until I decide what to do next.
In the meantime i just closed a deal with my ailing father to buy his 2000 excursion next month. I'm hoping his well-kept 7.3L will be less painful to own. It is in pretty nice shape and will tow the camper on family trips in the coming months. So I can ease back until I decide what to do with the 6.0 F250 next. Logic to me dictates taking the right valve cover loose, but I'm not ready for that deep dive right now. My wife's Merc needs a window regular installed and I need to install a timing belt and water pump on our ranger. And,...I am woefully behind on the inside honey-do's....
If you have any revelations on the noise I'm all ears....
