IDS Clone

Yahiko,

Thanks for contacting me. Do you have anything already prepared you can email me? How much, anything I'd need to know. I'm a real noob on this vehicle. 2005 F250 Super Duty with the 6.0. I've had it about 8 months.

I've redone the head gaskets, ARP studs, oil cooler, EGR delete, coolant filter, change to ELC, 6.4 banjo bolts, new stand pipes with the teflon, updated dummy plugs 12 MM.

My wish list is parallel the battery cables with new ground, delete fuel and oil filter assembly on the top of the engine with bigger fuel supply lines routed to the back of the heads with a new regulator, remote air cooled oil filter, bypass oil filter assembly, water pump with steel impellers, bigger alternator, navigation with satilite stereo, 08 transmission filter and pan, 08 side mirrors, 5" turbo back straight exhaust, and doing something with the turbo, bigger??, adding camber bushing assembly as described by powerstrokehelp guy, and learning more about the FICM flash and PCM flash. My understanding so far is there's better available.

So with my wish list I believe I've mostly done what I could do without needing AE or the IDS. I've done all this work myself in my garage with the cab on. It's been fun learning and I want to do my wish list as money allows.

Don't waste your money on AE.

It's a glorified code reader that can do a buzz test and live read data.

Not good for much else.
