Is the Die Hard 48 Gold AGM (need 2 of course) ok for my '97 7.3L F-250?
The compatability chart on the Sears web site says no, Seems strange,

According to their website the 48 series does not fit, but the 65 series does. The 48 is rated at 700 CCA, the 65 series is 775 CCA. I would also suspect a physical size difference as well.
PSDs take 65 series batteries (or 31s if you want to change terminals). 775 CCA is on the low side; OEMs and most replacement batteries are 875 each. If you're from anywhere in the country where there's real weather (and yeah, that would include "from mass"), you'll want that capacity.
