Will a trickle charger charge both batteries, when connected to one battery?
Yes, they will both charge together, but remember that they may not 'hold' a charge together. Meaning when charged they will both show the same voltage. But if you charge them seperately (unconnect both and charge seperately) and then check the final voltage, it is a good chance they will be at different levels. But.... when putting both back on the truck and connected together, the 'lowested' battery (it may have a cell going bad) will pull the other batt down closer to its' level.
Thanks, the reason I asked is because it looks like I'm going to have to spring for two new batteries and I don't want them to freeze up this winter as I won't be driving the truck that much
