Driver side O2 sensor trouble

Hello everybody, I have a 2000 Ford Excursion with the 5.4 in it 4 wheel drive. I recently had to change the passenger side O2 sensor out because it threw a code that that one was bad. That fixed it everything was good. It started throwing codes for the driver side O2 sensor. Came to find out that the cord got ripped apart. The O2 sensor female connector that comes off the wiring harness got ripped off, so i just have loose wires. this left me to buy a new O2 sensor to reassure me that it wasn't bad , and a oxygen sensor connector to connect to the loose exposed wires from the harness, so my o2 sensor can hook up. Now here is my problem. The wires are completely different colors, so i'm asking how i should hook them up because i hooked them a certain way and they didn't work. The stock colors from the wiring harness are red, red with white stripe, yellow, and grey with a black stripe. The connector i got from the auto parts store has the colors black, black with a white stripe, pink, and green with a red stripe.

You get an OEM connector? FWIW, Motorcraft O2 sensors are very reasonable...
