Still 2 and a half months before I receive delivery of my truck and also looking at a 2.5" leveling kit max so I appreciate everyone posting on here! I noticed that Readylift also has a 2.5" level kit that comes with springs and shocks over 2.5 inch spacers. Any benefit over new springs vs spacers? Assuming that would require all the same brackets as well?
Exactly.
As soon as you load up a "leveled" truck its nose is in the air like a 50's lead sled.
im with you brotha. almost every 'leveled' truck ive seen, which is probly thousands, appears to be squatting in the rear, some worse than others. add alittle weigth and the front is 5" higher than the back. to each their own I guess
2.5 Spacers
Shock extension brackets
Sway bar drop brackets
Bump stop extensions
Brake line drop brackets
ReadyLift track bar bracket
Moog adjustable caster bushings
Total $466
Install and alignment at Ford dealer $500
Pvincentt, did you get this kit straight from ReadyLift or a different distributor?
Glad u wanted pictures of stuff because I honestly didn't really inspect everything and it seems my adjustable caster bushings were not installed....they didn't give them back to me or say they didn't use them...
I also saw this steering box bolt....somebody has some splaining to do...so much for having ford do it so it was done right....

thank you,
I got the kit from Stage 3 as well.
That is the same bump stop spacer I received.
Whoa, your installer has some questions to answer Good luck
kylant...See my post with the video on page 2. Go to 21sec. and you can see the bump stop extension in the upper middle of the screen, just to the left of the spacers. Also go to 1:40-1:51 in the video and you will catch some views of it. Keep in mind that the off-white bushing you see on the bump extension is the stock Ford part that gets changed over to the extension.
thanks. but that is the reason for my question, that is drastically different than what I received.

OK....so you received the same "silver" bump stop extension bracket like Pvincentt has in his picture? When are you planning your install? Pics please!
The ride seemed fine...the steering at first felt a touch different. Doesn't seem bad but that doesn't mean it cant be better. I drove my bosses 05 f250 all day before I picked mine up and he doesn't fix **** on that thing since it doesn't get used much....that steering wheel feels like its going to fall off, I thought that might be skewing my opinion. I'm going to get to the bottom of this ...trying to figure out the excuses they are going to try to feed me as to why they didn't put them in. sounds like a lazy technician...my service advisor said his installer sort of complained about the track bar bracket like "man that's going to take another hour to put that in" he was telling me that because he didn't raise the price from the original estimate and said he paid the installer extra to do it. Those bushings were $40.

That's just laziness, no excuse imo. That's one of the main reasons that I do all my own work. Nobody cares more about my stuff than me! I'm curious if it wanders a bit more while driving without the correct castor angle? It really shouldn't ride any different since all oem suspension has been kept.

Any idea why they loosened the bolts for the steering box? There is no mention of this in the installation instructions nor in the video. Curious......
