4r100 reverse problems

Had this thing rebuilt less than 8k by a reputable local trans builder and the reverse started to fail on me told the guy the problem and said everything is "normal". Drove it and the thing started to act up slamed out of OD and the light started to blink. Took it to the guy to get it checked and said most likely the tranny is toast the fluid does smell burnt. Then he told me that I had two codes and that they were the cause of the tranny to fail, the codes were P1105, P1106 and that the voltage going to the solenoids was low roughly at 8.6 volts... Can the alternators have anything to do with tranny messing up? I took the to be tested and both alt are good I have a constant supply of 14.4 volts from the alternators. Can this be the pcm taking a dump?
Forgot to mention that this is a 2001 f250 platinum Edition 7.3 power stroke.

Neither of those codes would make the OD OFF flash. There are more codes, and those are needed to diagnose what's wrong.

Low voltage can cause erratic operation. If it operates like that long enough the trans can fail.

Long to engage reverse

I have a question. I drive a 2000 e350 7.3 with the 4r100 and my transmission failed (accelerating to get onto interstate and BANG no forward gears) so I found a donor transmission from a 1998 7.3 e350 also a 4r100. I installed it in my van with new filter and fluid and everything runs and drives great except when I engage reverse for the first time either after its been parked or after driving forward a period of 10 minutes or more. It takes anywhere from 6 to 10 seconds to engage into reverse. Once engaged it hold good and no slipping of anykind. Now if I go reverse then forward and then right back into reverse it engages right away with maybe a second delay which I believe is normal. It's only the first engagement that lags... sorry if this wrong place to post or ask but was wondering if you'd have any insight. Thanks in advance.

My guess is a damaged seal in the reverse clutch. It may get worse, or it may stay the same. It's not going to get better.

Is this something that can be accessed from pan side or have to pull transmission? Another question is are there any check valves (*****) that can be leaking fluid backwards. I'd like to try and fix it. Transmission works superbly and transfers plenty torque to reverse amd forward gears work flawlessly just like I said the lag to reverse. Appreciate any further input

sorry to bug but if there is anyway you'd be able to share some more of your knowledge I'd really appreciate it.

The trans has to come out and be torn down to get to this. I don't know of any check ***** that are in this circuit.
