Wheels

I'm currently building a 93 f150 and i'm looking for some nice chrome rims. I'm looking for 15 inch wheels, 12 inches wide, 5x5.5 lug pattern. I haven't had any luck finding places that sell rims like this. Any websites you know of or any stores would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

X2 what Brad said, Aluminum or Black steel is the way to go.

Both can be found in your size at

I definitely prefer aluminum, but would take chrome over cheap looking black painted any day.

it depends on the look you are going for. On some trucks those cheap looking black painted wheels look a lot better then chrome. But if your into chrome that much, that's fine.

12" wide? That is pretty wide, what size tire you wanting to run?

Stocks are 7-8 inches wide i believe...

I run a 15x8" wheel on my Jeep with 33x12.50x15 tires.

I would think that a 10" width would be enough and easier to find than a 12" width

10" is generally the tire manufacturers recommendation for a 12.5" wide tire. A lot of people prefer going down to 9" or even 8" (I think for better rim protection and better bead retention). A few people like going to wider wheels for the look. Personally I really wouldn't recommend it, but then again, I don't like that look. It's your truck and your money, go ahead and do what you want with it.

ok thanks for the info...I've seen a couple websites offer after market wheels for '95-96 f250/350, but they all seem to only be 5 lug. Does this sound right?

Not at all. F-250/350 of all years (except the '97/'98 F-250 not HD) have had 8 lugs. The bolt pattern changed in '99 (as White 97 xlt noted above) but all we 8 bolt. 5 bolt would be F-150 (or F-100 back when they existed)
