Good morning everyone. Seems like we are on the mend a bit. Still not feeling great.
I really dislike painting, but my current project is painting trim. Jackie doesn't like the maple trim that the builder installed. It looked light off-white in the showroom but is very yellow in the house, so I get to paint it all white!
Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Overcast and rain showers.
We have some big painting projects around here in the offing. Whole house. Hasn't been painted in 21 years. Could get interesting as our house is stucco and people are telling me we are going to have to use a special paint made for stucco...an "elastomeric" paint requiring a special type prep and application.

Good late morning everyone. Dropped Jackie and Owen off at an appointment and took Mason to run some errands. The places we needed to go didn't open for another half hour, so we had to stop by the donut shop!

Clear finish......pretty wood.
It's not real maple. It's some sort of soft wood from Chile with a maple-like finish over it.
Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Several hours at the VAMC in Portland today. That could have gone better. Get to go back in a couple of weeks.
Went to Cabela's afterward and did some window shopping and looked at the taxidermy again. They did have a Kershaw fillet knife on sale and I picked that up. Then we went down the freeway to Wilsonville Costco and got a few groceries.
Went cross country and took the "long way home" out through the farm fields and over to St. Paul.
Got home, mowed the front lawn then had the Warden help me get the anchor winch off of the old boat.
