Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 34.7, wet - a shower passed over a half hour ago. Pea Soup fog here in the river bottom, but it looks like it is lifting. I can see UP through it to blue sky overhead. Fog seems to be getting lighter by the second.

Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Had to make a parts run into the little big city this afternoon and just got home a few minutes ago.
Someone, on a bicycle I presume, hit the mirrors on the drivers side of the pickup. Cracked the RV mirror and knocked the convex off onto the pavement. No bent metal or anything. Thought I heard a sound like a bike going down earlier this morning, but when I looked out front, I didn't see anything. Hope they got one heck of a goose egg!

We spent all day doing yardwork.........cut down a dead tree and bucked it up......trimmed up a lot of other trees......cleaned up a lot of other stuff.......
everyone helped......son, grandsons, step-gransons, other peoples grandsons...we got a lot done.
I even refrained from attending a farm auction just so I could get at this. Just as well.....I have plenty of projects, and it looks like I'm going to be getting a couple more .....more on that later.

Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 41.5, wet, rain, and more rain. Been watching the Fontana Xfinity Race I DVR'd. Doesn't look like the hay fields in the front and back yards are going to get mowed again today.
If I get too restless, there are always the income taxes to finish up. Usually have them done by this time, but with the Warden's retirement and the MIL's estate problems, they kind of got put off.
Warden is all excited this morning. I think I've heard about 50 times now about how this is her last Sunday at work and the beginning or her final week before retirement.
