Is there supposed to be a plug????

Took the turbo off to put in a blank pedestal and saw this hole (where the light is shined). Is there supposed to be a plug in it?

I did do alittle research on the Efuel kit but my truck has me tapped out financially so I cant afford to do anything more than "cheap" oem parts. We just took the fuel bowl out last night and found our leak....the housing is actually broke and needs a new one. I am finding that most motorcrafts are around 350.00. The only reason the turbo is out is because the EBPV rod was flowing oil like a river. Its been one thing after another. Bought the truck in October and I have only driven it around the block and to the mechanic. Its been in our shop ever since and thanks to this forum and you tube we are becoming diesel mechanics.

A few of the members here may have a fuel bowl for you if it would help. I am in Canada and have a fuel bowl sitting around now.

That hole is a drain hole and should not be plugged. It provides drainage of fluids, Diesel, oil, water out of the valley.
