help with a vacuum leak
got a 4.9 79 f150, and i've racking my brain over this vacuum leak! when i cover the air cleaner opening the idle raises considerably. i've tried checking hoses by plugging and unplugging hoses and nothing seems to affect it no matter which vacuum hose i mess with. when i spray carb cleaner near the back of the carb the idle does raise a bit. could it be the gasket? wherever the leak is it seems to be rather large given how much the idle raises
