I've found all my leaks at 5-15 PSI - including the leaks in my injector cups. When you have a leak that air can pass through, it's not hard to spot with low pressure. I use Simple Green for my bubble solution - wouldn't want to waste an opportunity to clean the engine.
More than one member has received harsh treatment from 20 PSI pressure during a leak test - so keep that in mind.
I did that test today, You have to put a bit of duck tape inside the boot to seal the port for the green line, and you also have to attach the red line. My sensor foamed up, the orange boots foamed up and the right side connection to the inter cooler leaked a bit. You need it silent so you can hear the snakes singing to you.

Should be very easy to find the leaks too. I was leaking real bad when I did mine. When I went to fix the plenums I unbolted them and pulled them right off. The gasket material had totally separated.

Merry Christmas Eve everyone!
So so I attempted to do a leak test and I had more problems with the air compressor so I had to put it off . I did manage to get the pressure up to 8psi and had small leaks on almost everything that was supposed to be sealed. They where small leaks but leaks none the less. I'm sure that under 15psi I could find more . Hopefully Santa brings me a new air compressor tonight haha

I used the compressor to fill a air tank and used the tank 4 the test.
The compressor would have made way too much noise to hear the leaks.
The sensor and that other fitting as well.

did you have any trouble with the passenger side plenum bolt closest to the hpop res

Trouble as in leaking?? If that's what you are asking then yes. Both of my plenums were leaking very bad. I had a tune on the truck at the time and was showing some weird symptoms. With so help from a great fter after some logging with a/e found that the tune was kinda compensating for the leaks. After I took the tune off you could really tell something was going on. That's when I did the leak test. Both plenums were leaking quite badly. I think I still have the video. I will see if I can get it posted up.
It is the larger tank, but your leak should not be that bad, if you test rig is installed as in the pic with the port for the green line sealed and the red line installed. You should be just leaking past the rings, and leaks in the boost system. Pump the tank to 100 psi and run it down to 20. I was getting about 4 min to look for leaks. U get a lot less time if your hose leaks and the red tube is not installed, just saying. I refilled the tank three times before I got everything right.
Has anyone done a how-to or write-up on the plenum replacements yet? I have been eye balling the billet plenums for a while and with my plans of doing a boost leak test in the next couple of weeks I may order them in January. Would be nice to have the process in my mind ahead of time. Although, if one has not been done, no big deal I will figure it out and probably do a write-up myself.
Well, it seems Clay has done the work for me/us....
Yeah... my "neighbor" Woodnthings did the first set and a write-up with it. There were several modifications by the time I installed my set, and the last time I looked - there is no slot for the bolt under the HPOP. The 10-bolt intake plenum is supported enough in the corner that the 10th bolt slot doesn't need to be there.

It's not to bad of a job. The getting everything out of the valley is a little work, and makes the first start a little cranky since you open both the oil and fuel system. I would honestly say when I did it the hardest part was getting everything cleaned up. My truck had a lot of years worth of crud to clean out. The quality of clays plenums are top notch. Defiantly a feel of confidence that you will never have to mess with them again.
