My neighbor James and I are going to check out a 78 F350 thats already black and has the deck boxed in this weekend.
My put stripes on that one to if he picks it up.
I`m glad we don`t have to get inspections done here unless it`s been in an accident, failed in a road side inspection or it`s out of province.
The stripes on your 78 F350 look great, certainly like how the grill looks!
I had my F250 wheels polished, $75 a wheel wasn`t bad.
If your ever heading to Calgary Midnite drop me a line if you need interior pieces. I broke a white 88 f450 and it had a blue interior. I managed to keep most if not all of it except the seat, have the slider rear glass and window pieces from inside the doors from both a 88 and 89. Also have some grass green fenders, front valance and front end plastic from both trucks.
Thanks for the compliments on the grills, they'll make you go batty for a few days painting them by brush. Next time I do it I'll shave down a paint roller with my beard trimmer and see how that works.
After the 2nd inspection that I had, the insurance company came to the conclusion that my trucks are mechanically in mint shape and they don't bug me anymore for an inspection, I just email in a picture of the truck and vin #.

Anything over a certain age will need an inspection usually for the insurance company, one time thing before they will insure it. Just renew every year afterwards and you'll be fine.
Only reason I need the inspection is cause it's a BC truck.
Otherwise yeah if it's over 5 years my insurance asks for a general inspection done which I just fill out the sheet and put my ticket number on it. But an out of province I can't do it.

There's a guy here that has wheel polishers (machines with little beads that are for polishing. Hes $250/wheel thats stripping the clear, polishing and re clear.
Here's a set they just did
It's a video click on it for it to show up
$250 a wheel sounds a bit pricey but it they come back nice and shinny than it`s worth it. Mine where decent, no clear coat, just a bit dull and it was done by friend.
Next time I'm out back in the parts shed I'll look for the wiper switch, window slider lock your SOL on as mine stays on the window. If it wasn't for the weather and medical facilities I would live somewhere else. LOL

Yeah I could put in a lot of elbow grease before I spend $1000 to get wheels polished.... Hell I could buy new ones for that lol
