Well the flames won, so that was a fun game to listen to. I'm not a big hockey fan, but I do manage to jump on the home team bandwagon when they are doing well. Looks like we may get some playoff games, which are always fun.
Sure would be. We just could use an upgrade in facilities in Calgary. With the chance of an Olympic bid, I think a couple new stadiums would come with that!
Put all the teams on outside rinks and toughen them up so that they know how lucky they are that they have stadiums to play in. lol. Saskatchewan should have a team seeing as they've produced the most North American players.
Finally got the signatures from our city Councillor Andre Chabot and from our community association, the CA was upset that I didn't rent their hall at $150 a night and have a series of meetings first and then draft up a proposal to City hall and wait for them to reply and have them do a public notice survey. I took the 2 week route and not the 6 month route and now we have the neighborhood talking about it and wanting it done. The first official meeting of our neighborhood crime program is this month end and its being piggy backed on our community conversation circle meeting. From that time on we'll hopefully have our own monthly meetings to review whats been accomplished plus it will get us working together and staying in contact with each other during the month. Pay it forwards is on again this month end so my nose will be in on that some how, don't know what we're doing this time. Sure were a lot of people in this area who knew me or knew of me when I was knocking on doors. So, how have you been keeping Silver.
That's some awesome news Perry, glad things are moving forward for you! At this rate, next time I'm in Calgary they will have it all in full swing! Things have been busy for me, they have the whole fleet booked for the year right now. Great for the office, but not so good for my shop time. Management has been quite clear with me that I'm not to be expecting to much time off between tours, as they only have a few of us who can work these projects in the US and Mexico. The Chilean crew is in full swing as well fighting fires. Best case is if I time out early so I can spend at least a bit of time at home with the lady.
Hope you all have been doing well! Puddy, looking forward to seeing you down here at the cruise in!
