The parts catalog shows that between 73 and 79 Ford used three different coil mounting brackets on the F series with a 460.
73-75 before s/n W00,001 used D3VY-12043-A, Motorcraft DY-123
75 from s/n W00,001 through 76 used D4OZ-12043-A, Motorcraft DY-147
and '77-up used D7SZ-12043-B, Motorcraft DY-210
I don't know which one is in the picture but I could only locate one dealer or obsolete supplier that had any.
Green Sales, Cincinnati, OH has 6 of the D3VY-12043-A brackets (800) 543-4959.

OP said the engine is a 429 (only installed in cars), but the dizzy with the male ends was introduced in 1977.
Since the internal balance 429 & 460 share the same block and block casting numbers, the only way to determine the engine size is to measure the stroke.
429 = 3.59" / 460 = 3.65."
If the block casting number is D9TE-6015-AB = It's an external balance 460.
Passenger Car coil brackets: 1969 all I-6 & V8: C9AZ-12043-A / 1970/72 429/460: D0VY-12043-B / 1973 429/460: D3VY-12043-A
I saw this pic in anouther thread and the coil bracket was a suprise as I have not seen this one before
Do you guys think this is original for a 429 or 450 or maybe just something custom
I spent about 1 hour looking through different options on flee bay and could not find anouther like this
I had one from PO that cracked and don't like the look of custom one I made up
I'm not sure if I'm "seeing" your originally posted image correctly or not, but it seems to be attached to the intake manifold in a manner similar to the others. The part that looks a bit different/unusual is the lower part of the bracket and the "strut" projecting forward toward the driver's side with what appears to be noticeable corrosion. Perhaps it is a custom made piece. ??????????????? Or perhaps I need a corrective lens. Also, I'm wondering what the large dark bracket in the lower right foreground is for. Someone surely knows that answer.
I've got the factory A/C in mine and part of the compressor and hoses would be visible if that same photo would have been taken of mine. I'm not familiar with the dealer installed A/C or any aftermarkets. Perhaps it is one of them. But I still can't see any refrigeration hoses, two of which should be headed for the firewall.

Reason: number correction
All of the brackets attach to intake manifold in same
The differences are in the overall height and the reinforced stamping. The taller bracket seams to have the ribs for strength which makes sence
The other difference is what is the orientation of clamp.
It seams that the default position puts the coil parallel to axel. In pic below it looks like this clamp could be rotated 90 degrees to match the first pic of the thread where coil is aligned with drive shaft
Does this make sense that I would rotate the top clamp and drill new holes or weld in place?
