Sport trac A/C problem...changes vents
I have a 2001 Ford sport trac. My problem is that when I press the gas hard and I have it on the top vents It will swith by itself to half vents and half defrost. When I let off the gas a little it will switch back. Can someone please help!

Sounds like you have a vacuum leak. If its under warranty have the dealer fix her up. Otherwise you can look for vacuum lines loose on the actuators, broken vaccuum line, vacuum line off on the water control valve if it is equipped, or the vacuum cannister may be leaking or the vacuum check valve may be bad.
