I think the fronts go over the carpeted ones. The soft material is sound reduction material and does not need to be removed.
I really dislike the carpeted wheel liners in my old truck. Could never clear off the mud from them as just caked right in and ended up using bars to chip it out.
Of course this is region and driving conditions dependent.

It never rains in Southern California, or so says Albert Hammond.
This is a good price. Front and rear are the same price. This is the rear
It is good to see OEM parts being discounted. Usually a big rip off. Did you buy your vehicle there or is that standard pricing? I could drive that far to save a hundred bucks! LOL (Besides I have a friend in Culpepper I haven't seen in a while).
That was an awesome deal on those liners except it would cost me $86 to ship each pair. Or $407.01 for the front and back liners after tax and shipping. Ended up ordering them locally here in Cali for $264.38 out the door after tax.
I also ordered the Gatorback Blue Logo Flaps (ouch). But they look so good.... I have a 5th Wheel that already has cow-crap on the front from not having flaps while rolling through a pasture near the beach at Lawson's Landing.
Hopefully I'll crawling around in the wheel wells this coming weekend. Yeah!

I've always had good luck by asking for a "jobber price" or politely asking if they can cut me a break. Most of the parts guys can give a discount without getting approval from anyone.
They gave me employee pricing at $203.12 for front and rear. It really makes a black truck pop seeing the black and the front Carpet is covered up. will save some not cleaning the sand out of carpet.
