Drive shaft cv joint boot
I have replaced 4 front drive shaft cv joint for bad boots. Dorman replaces them at no cost but I have not been able to get 10,000 miles out of one before the boot goes bad. Anyone have this same problem?

similar problem on my '98 explorer
I was chasing a noise on my 98 5.0 AWD Expl some years ago and changed out the drivers side frt axle. I don't believe I damaged anything but it started throwing grease out all over on day one. The sound I was looking for didn't go away and the core charge for my original was $5 so I kept it and put it back on and returned the reman for a refund. It now has 210k on both frt half shafts. The noise was from the frt driveshaft between transfer case and frt diff.
