Apple car play help?
The advantage of apple car play reading text messages is very handy. But once in that mode how can i get back to a home screen look?
i can hit the media button and that works but it changes the audio source. Surely I am missing something?
Also is there a way to go to different source for audio from steering wheel. That goes both directions it seems to only go one direction and must scroll all the way around. I know i can hit the touch screen. And pick source.

The "M" button on the steering wheel will make you cycle through all available sources in a circle...it is not bi-directional.
However, you can use the voice commands to change sources: for instance, hit the voice button, and at the prompt, say "USB" or "Bluetooth Audio" or "Sirius Hits 1," etc. That works pretty well.

Technically I don't think it takes you to the home screen because the home screen is different when the phone is plugged in and it limits or changes some of your button choices....or should I say it "grays" them out. Here are a couple of pics. I hit the circle in the lower left and it brings me to the next screen. Then I hit the Sync button. I dont think you get the normal Home screen from here when plugged in. If you hit the blue back arrow in the upper left it brings you to a screen where it has a little home symbol in the upper left also. This takes you back to a "modified" home screen.
