Thanks, Denny. I have to wonder if the curved pieces are the later ones and the design was modified to make it easier to stamp out. Or just regional differences? It seems like in a previous thread a reason for the curves were identified, something 6 cyl vs V8? But I can't find it.

Found another set today . All painted ready to mount . They are for a '52 . Maybe some one with a '52 that has a 6 cyl. engine can take a look at the rear right side area of the fender / running board where the splash guard would attach & see if the exhaust comes close to it . Thanks , Denny
