More Progress (pic heavy)

After I did all the metal work, I had the cab media blasted then dropped it off at the body shop to have it prepped for primer.

before...

After...

I had them go ahead and paint the interior with Glacier Blue. That way I can start getting stuff installed without having to worry about it when time comes to paint the exterior.

Got the cab back on Wednesday, and started getting it back on the frame on Thursday. Getting the rear mounts installed was a pain in the ***, but I finally got it.

With all the metal work I had to do in front cab corners I had to line everything up and drill from the bottom before I was able to get the mount bracket installed.

All that nasty cleaning, scraping, and brushing has paid off at this point. Your truck is looking real nice, and is on its way to being a real beauty.

I noticed a black substance on the floor, it has a good shine to it, is it POR-15?

close...Magnet Paints Chassis Saver. Since I am putting down sound blankets and some kind of floor covering I painted both sides of the floor with it.

Won't be seen anyways.

Really beautiful work so far - very impressive.

What kind of media did they use to do the blasting?

Not sure what they used. They came and picked it up...took it to their shop, blasted it and brought it back to me for $300.
