took my truck to have led lights on back bumper. nobody knows where the upfitter switch wiring is so we can tie into one of the switches. anyone know where the wires are
Under the upfitter Fuse/ Relay box located drivers side just behind the battery (in front of brake master cylinder). I had to remove the box to get wires free.
it seems like they would have it in a more convenient place. since they move them to top of truck. the owners manuel is wrong. they are not where it says. also had glovebox out and everything under steering wheel. what color are the wires for those switches cause there are other relays and fuses in that box?

There are 2 wires for PTO whether you have one or not, those 2 are 12v hot and 12v switched. The also taped them to the harness son not only can't you easily reach them, you have to cut tape to get them out. I pulled mine out and zip tied them to a different harness.

Wow, I stand corrected and apologize. I just picked mine up tonight so I was going by what I thought I remembered from the owner's manual.
They were def a pain to get to. I did similar to wb6anp and taped them to another harness once I got them free and untapped. I was unable to remove the fuse box so i had to twist my hand in all different directions to finally loosen them from their original spot.
Question on uplift switches. I have a 2016 F-250 SD. I have found the wires down behind the relay box. The book says #1 and #2 both 25 Amps, #3 -10 Amp, #4 -15 Amp.
I don't see anything up and under the dash that matches these wires, Should I???
Are they all pre-wired, with relays or can I just hook up and go?

The wires Uber the dash on the passenger side are just pass through wires, the end on the other side. You have to them wire then across the engine bay to the upfitter fuse leads. You can use any write down there, doesn't matter.

Do the wires under the dash need to spliced , or do they go to the power supply?

It's just a length of wire that passes through the firewall, they aren't connected to anything. You wire your device under the dash, then you need another piece of wire from the engine bay side to the upfitter fuse.
