Labor charges

Called an alignment shop to quote me a price on doing my axle pivot bushings. quoted me $375 +parts. that includes an alignment. I thought that was pretty good considering the srealership wanted close to $900. I hope it takes care of the tires leaning out.

Those two prices sound about right.

I did mine myself and it's an ordeal! Only concern I'd have is confirming that what they're calling an alignment includes caster and camber adjustments and not just a toe adjustment.

Also, the spring shackle bushings wear out about the same time as the pivot bushings and also affect the camber.

I did confirm that they will be adjusting the camber and caster. I replaced front springs and shackles about 3 months ago. and the shackle bushings was pretty much gone.

I thought I remembered that you replaced the springs, but I wasn't sure.

I would have to take a look at those bushings myself if I were you.. adjustable camber bushings are always used on TTBs to get the alignment correct, but in some cases they can be used to cover up the worn out bushings. Not saying they for sure took the easy way out, but its a possibility so have a look at them for peace of mind. If the bolt is not centered in the bushing, they're probably worn out.

I had looked at them before I did all my front end work, and I thought they was fine. I did my ball joints, and replaced my front springs and spring brackets and the tires was still leaning out so I just assumed it was the axle pivot bushings. I think he was honest because the camber bushings was $200 cheaper than the axle pivot bushings was going to be.
