Front end alignment question
I called the local service station about an alignment on my 1983 Ford F-150 (2wd). The quoted a price plus parts if needed (alignment bushings). Does my F-150 use alignment bushings? I would like to know what my possible costs will be before I take it in.

Most likely all you will need is toe-in adjustment. Should cost less than $50. Caster is not really adjustable and camber is done with eccentric bushings. Camber bushings cost about $12 each if you buy them or $50 each if the alignment shop installs them. But like I said, you probably won't need them unless you've changed springs or bent an axle.
