Horn - How to replace it??
After much research (online), I find the horn on my 2000 SD is on the passenger side fender(top side). Well, how do I get to it? I need to replace mine as it has not worked in 10 years! Do I remove the panel itself? or can I get to it from fender well?

You might also want to pick up a set of these trim & molding removal tools from Harbor Freight about $9.00. If I remember correctly there's a couple of those push in plastic jobs that also hold the inner fender in place.

You might also want to pick up a set of these trim & molding removal tools from Harbor Freight about $9.00. If I remember correctly there's a couple of those push in plastic jobs that also hold the inner fender in place.

One other thought IF you haven't picked up your replacement horns yet. The HELLA 003399803 12V electric horns are supposed to be pretty Loud - I never cared for the wimpy sound of the factory horns in my 06. Unfortunately I didn't think about this until AFTER I had my inner fender well out & back in. The horns got pretty good reviews on Amazon. Just a thought.
