I bought my F350 and the horn does not work. I can hear the clicking but no sound. It looks like I have to pull the front end off to get to it as it seems to be hidden inside the fender. Does anyone have a low cost suggestion for replacement? How do you get to the stupid thing?
1. Remove the battery tray
2. Remove the horn assembly bolt
3. Remove the RH fender apron retainers.
a. Remove the RH fender lip to RH fender apron screws.
b. Remove the RH fender apron to inner fender bolts
4. Remove the horn assembly.
a Position the fender apron aside to gain access to the horn assembly
b Remove the horn assembly.

It's not tough, but it's time consuming. You might want to think about buying a better horn or just get one from a salvage yard. The old Caddillac's had great horn. I put a couple of horns from an old Eldorado in my last truck. Airhorns get peoples attn too.
Holly Cow! all that for a horn. What happened to the good ole days when it was right there sticking out the front. They must have built the truck around the horn. So I take it any horn will work, just plug it in.
