Blower motor?

Has key on power.
Fan on/off and speed controls are only on the ground side.
It's a 30A fuse, so probably enough headroom to run the choke.

My EVTM is for '87 but if the wire colors are the same it is a brown wire with orange stripe.

Like I said, I have a small brown wire (can't see a stripe) that goes from the 4 wire ALT side to the junction box, that may work...checking diagrams now. And yes, the blower motor would work I suppose, good thought.

30A isn't a 'small' anything wire.....

What is this "junction box" you keep mentioning?

I really don't see it, even in Gary's copy of a 1986 EVTM

Hayes manuals only show fuel injected systems and I can't seem to find answers there as nothing shows the wiring I have, even online doesn't match. Don't still know what the stator side is, and yes, I'd keep the choke heater on as long as the motor is on.

I have a junction box on the driver side firewall and the wires there go forward, and then under the radiator in a wrapped bunch, to the passenger side by the battery.

Haynes and Chilton are for wiping grease off the garage floor....

Gary *has* the 1986 EVTM on his Garagemahal website.
Dave pointed you there in post 6.
Don't begin to tell us "it isn't available online"
Circuit 181 (Br/O) passes through the C606 connector on its way to the blower motor.

What you seem to be calling a 'junction box', is it the main harness bulkhead connector?.

Actually I think it's a marker lamp relay. Gary's wiring diagrams, again, don't match what I have, sigh...

If the 1986 evtm doesn't match what you have then you don't have a Ford pickup or Bronco.

I suppose you'll figure it out eventually.
I won't confuse the issue any further.

My guess is that he has something that was munged together by some PO.

BTW that wiring looks reminiscent of a 1G alternator setup but I may be mistaken there, don't take it as gospel.

Appears I need to find the S and the OEM wire was white/black. I've yet to see a diagram with a 2 wire and a 4 wire connector, but, see MANY with 3/3. To those who doubt, I assure you, I have a 1986 F250.
