Automatic Choke Wiring?

I'm looking for the two wires that connect to the choke on my 76 F150 I6.

What colors should they be?

The factory choke gets powered from the stator terminal of the alternator, which should come around on the firewall. The wire should be WHITE with a BLACK stripe.

That's the only wire that goes to the factory electric-assist choke. The choke grounds through the carburetor itself. If your choke has two terminals, it's not the factory type.

Cool. Thank you.

The previous owner did a real hack job on the wiring.
