You want to hook it up like so. Truck should be in park, and the key should be on and the engine not running. Note that the solenoid connector drawing is just representative. You'll need to look at your wiring diagram to see which pins are the solenoid pins.
If I'm correct the solenoids won't be getting 12 volts until they are switched on and they get switched on by driving, so how could I test the solenoid power?
The power to the fuel injection solenoids is at the solenoids as soon as the key is turned to the run or start positions. Turning the key to the run or start positions sends power to the PCM power relay coil and the power relays contacts puts power on the red 361 wire that goes to all the fuel injection solenoids, transmission solenoids and other items also.

The solenoids get 12 volts whenever the key is on. The solenoids are turned on by grounding them.
Finally after months I have fixed the problem, I removed the diodes I wired in and tested each wire for continuity, the pump control solenoid wire was broken near the pcm, It is all wired and fixed now except for the lack of diodes, what is the best route to go about fixing this? Right now it has the newer style solenoids and I know what will happen if I don't switch them out
