Sirius Tuner Location?
Hi,
First of all, does anyone know where the Sirius Radio tuner is located in the 2015 Powerstroke? I had one vendor that told me it was part of the deck, and another that said it was behind the glove compartment. That said, is there any way at all to connect that tuner to an aftermarket deck?

Yup, just installed mine, but found out after the fact that Sirius isn't supported as a carryover In 2015 trucks...
In fact I removed my compete install that I paid to be installed and redid it with maestro idatalink to get correct steering controls and sync and Sirius... Very disappointing... Was told it did support Sirius carryover..

Larry, where might I ask is the A pillar? Looked behind the glove box today, see some modules there, but they sure aren't mounted in a very good spot to see what's what...

There's a plastic plug that snaps the sat radio antenna to a factory head unit. It can be removed without breaking it to expose a bare brass end. With a little fudging can be plugged into an aftermarket head unit without damaging anything. I didn't want to buy another aftermarket antenna to stick on the truck when there was already one there.
Crutchfield told me it wasn't possible and that nobody sells an adapter. I don't know if this what you're attemping, but if so here's a link.

Hi, hoping someone can provide me clarity. I see 2 "Antenna" connections in the back of the factory deck. One that is clearly for the FM antenna, and the other seems to be what I would think a Sirius Radio would plug into. The problem is that the initial aftermarket deck installation was done by a shop and when I pulled it back out, all I see is the FM antenna plugged into the back of the new deck. I can't seem to find any spare wires / connectors that look like they would plug into the 2nd antenna connection from the factory deck. Can someone please help me figure this out??
thanks,
thanks,
