I'm F150 screw 5.4 Italian user with audiophile FM tuner. I'm not able to listen radio station with even frequency like 105.00 or 89.2 or other like this. My Fm tuner syntonizes only odd frequency like 89.1, 89.3, 89.5....... In Italy there are radio station both even and odd frequency. Is ther a way to solve this problem? Many thanks. Giuseppe.
Yes, units that are designed for North America often won't tune to the European frequencies. I don't know if they can be modified, but many aftermarket units are selectable or will tune both.
Thank you for your help. I don't want change head unit because i like steereng wheel control, and I thing there is some difficult to connect with subwoofer...
if you talk to someone at a decent mobile audio store, they'llbe able to find you a headunit that will work your steering wheel controls as well as handle even numbered stations.
In Italy I think that there isn't head unit to interface with ford control. Please tell me some model that I can put in my truck that have compatible steering wheel control and subwoofer interface. Thank you.
I know my Alpine 9833 is selctable for European as well as North American radio frequencies. I'm not positive if they have an interface for Ford Vehicles but I'll look to see for you.
