New to the forum and looking for a little advise. I just bought a 2013 F250 Diesel. It has the standard radio with Sync. When I hook up any phone to the Aux port, I can barely hear with the phone and radio all the way up. Also, it doesn't seem like the Bluetooth stays on on the radio, as it always ask to turn the Bluetooth on when trying to connect a phone. I've tried the master reset and pulling the fuse for 3-5 minutes but still having the same issues. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Have you synced your phone to the car? I think you have to do even if you are connecting the phone with the usb cable (and bluetooth has to be on on the phone, of course).
No, I can't even get that far. Everytime I try to connect my phone for the first time, it cycles and asks if I want to turn on bluetooth. The Aux is also barely audible when plugged in to any phone with everything turned all the way up.
The aux should not be a factor here, it's not used for bluetooth. The aux works like a headphone jack, so if the volume on your phone is turned down, you'll just be sending alot of power to the speakers, but not much usable sound. If you want to use your phone for music via AUX then you'll need to turn your phone volume up FIRST then adjust with the truck volume.
For the phone, it sounds like you don't have it hooked up quite right, but I think it's most a misunderstanding of how the system works. No worries, I think I can walk you through it! First lets start with a fresh slate. Remove all instances of your truck listed on your phone. Also go into the trucks phone menu and remove all devices. Ensure bluetooth is turned on in your phone and search for devices. Go into your truck and pair a new device, your phone should show SYNC (though it often starts has a Hex code or "handsfree", just select it). If it requires a pin to handshake, go ahead and enter it. Any time your phone asks for permission to connect select any box that is available for "don't ask again" or "always" or anything else like that, and select "yes" or "pair" or "connect" or anything other affirmatives. Some on the truck, say yes to 911, yes to phone book, yes to primary, etc. Now you should have a functioning phone.
As for always asking if you want it to connect, that seems to happen most if you start the truck with the phone in your pocket and then walk away (such as waiting for it to defrost). When you started the truck, the phone paired. Then you left the truck and got out of range, disconnecting the bluetooth. It doesn't automatically reconnect when you return to the range of the truck. Again, bluetooth does not need, or even work with, the aux port. It's wireless! The only thing you should be plugging your phone in for is to charge it via a USB port or 12v, but thats still not for phone calls. Good luck, and let me know if this doesn't get you pointed in the right direction.

Hi DDaughtrey,
Congrats on the new F-250! When you select to turn Bluetooth on, does it automatically turns off prompting the vehicle to ask you to turn it on again? If so, this requires a trip to a Ford dealer for assistance. You can locate on here: https://owner.ford.com/dealer-locator.html Keep me posted!
