In the morning when it is cool now, I put the truck in gear and there is no movement even though it is in gear with the engine running and I have my foot on the pedal. After four or so seconds, I get movement and everything is OK.
It has been doing this for a year or so- maybe for 1 or 2 seconds. Now it's up to four. I checked the oil in transmission and it is full.
What is this problem and how much is it to fix? Is the transmission going bye bye ?
When you check the tranny fluid is the transmission completely up to full temperature? if not and it is showing full then it is overfull. I don't know what issues that could create but it will definitely create some. Once your truck is up to temperature pull your codes to see if you have any.

Truck was running at normal operating temperature. I checked the fluid and it was between the two dots on the dipstick.
I'll pull the codes if I can find my Ford F150 computer
