IDI throttle return spring: broken
Hey folks,
last thing before i get my idi back on the road. The return spring where the throttle cable meets the IP is broken. I linked a picture so you can see the problem. What is the red part called and how can i get a replacement or fix this one?

You buy a new cable, don't buy the NAPA one, it's wrong, the one from rock auto is correct

Get a pair of pliers and break out the loose red piece. Call it good.
Mine currently doesn't even have a spring there anymore, nor the red piece, nor the black 'guide' either.
I've just got a spring from the front side of the throttle lever down to the "hook" on the high idle solenoid bracket.
