Chief, great picture of your son, and Santa, sometimes it takes a while for the kids to warm up to him.

Hugh, I like the look of the look of the camper shell, and running boards, it pulls the truck together. Well back to work.

I got the brakes and new wheel cylinders installed on the daughters truck today. I cleaned the MAF sensor on the wife's truck too since it had been throw a code.

We got a Christmas tree yesterday while we were out and about. I trimmed it up, installed the stand and have it set up in the living room. Now I have to find the lights and ornaments that are stashed in the basement.

I am glad we don't do that anymore. We use to do the outside plus tree inside. We just the 2 of us it got to be a big hassle. We get the tree up and decorated the critters would either knock stuff off or a couple of times just knocked it over

Got the electric fans and controller fans were 30 controller was 130 from Summitt

Going to be a busy week for me: Power Steering pump on the Jeep, electric fans, body molding, badging, headlight switch and some electrical stuff on the truck. Get the bent tierod tube of the tractor and try and straighten it. Plus buy groceries and get the truck aligned can do both of those at Robins AFB. Firestone is next door to the commisary

I never thought of Summit as the junk yard, lol. I need to go by Forsyth Customs, a friend told me they were a couple of miles from the house.

The decorations are out, and Cora loves to dance with the dancing Santa, she laughs every time she plays it.

Had a very successful weekend. Old Blue is ready to go back on the road with some minor fixes left to do, but had a great ride around the neighborhood.

Hugh, I'm with you on the Pull A Part, just kidding on Summit. The truck will be used after work, and weekends. Just wanted to bring Gail's Papa's truck back from the trash hole it was left in, and let her enjoy her childhood memories.

Summitt - gearheads toy store junkyards playground.

I am sure Gale is delighted to see her Papa truck complete.

Mine has nothing sentimental attached to it.

That looks fantastic Bob!!! I am sure you are very proud of your hard work.

It does sound like you have some wrenching to do this week Hugh.

I'm glad to have most of my projects completed before winter sets in. Now I just have to wait till March or so when it starts to warm up again.

When we lived in south Georgia we lived on a main road in town where everyone decorated for the holidays. It was a rivalry to try and out do everyone else on lights, decorations for Halloween and Christmas. It was cool but also a ton of work. No one can see our house now so it's a useless point and the wife sold most of our outside stuff in a yard sale before we moved here. I will probibly do some outside lights and decorations for Christmas next year when our little man is older and he can enjoy them but nothing crazy like we use to do.

I had the morning shift with little man and let the wife sleep in. I then found all the Christmas decorations and lights in the basement. The tree and decorating for the holidays is now complete. Decided to pull the battery out of the boat and put it in the 79. Looks like some rain is finally coming!!

I made a my Disney experience account to start planning our vacation, my wife thinks I'm insane starting so early.

Hey folks, sorry I have been MIA for a while but I m back and got some progress on the truck. Wife and I just closed on our first house so that took a lot of time and now we are doing some much needed renovations before we move into it the first of the year.

So here's the update on the blue beast and thinking that I was really prepared but as we were getting into it I kept finding things I needed.
Engine, trans driveshaft, 2 crossmembers out and now the little odds and ends you never think about.

Hopefully it may be done before Christmas in between, work, house Reno, moving and traveling.

It's never a problem always a project!
