I think we we would all be bored to death if we did not have something to work on. Is the tractor 6 volt or 12? There maybe a good reason he never fixed the leak you may open a big bucket of worms
My major project over the winter is the land. Got a few things to do on the truck. Going to go to electric fans. Body molding and badging.
This is is one of the trucks I'm building right now. 600hp 7.3 PSD with 2016 front clip. It's getting a Move (weld yourself) bumper.
Just getting cleaned up so I can move in!!! My shop is only a couple miles from NC, and about 40mi from TN in one direction and 40mi to SC in the other direction.
I gave up shaving a few years ago when I quit my 'real job'. It's been a fun social experiment!
Hope everyone has a great thanksgiving tomorrow, and gets some relaxation in. I know that I will be busy with a four day weekend with two working on the truck.
Then we start Merry Christmas, yippee.
Jason, I like the shop, should have plenty of room in there.
Hugh, good luck with the clearing, it is a lot of work.
Chief, Hugh may be right about the tractor. Sometimes it's better to keep rear end dope on hand, and check on a regular basis.
Bob same to you
I am going to get the camper shell back on.
Got to go out to the land a pull the tierod tube I bent and try to straighten it. They are back orderd from the factory.
Kinda handicapped right now. The tumble I took down the hill aftet the accident with the deer I sprang my wrist Dr says at least 4 weeks in the brace
I learned a long time ago that I don't bounce as high, or heal as fast as I used to. Now a full day at the shop usually last for about six hours, take the 2 1/2 mile trip home, and take a nap.
Sounds bout right. If I am here at the house doing something the limit is about 2 hours then break and maybe nap then a little more work. My two helpers let me know when it time to quit for the day
The tractor has been converted to 12 volt, the previous owner is my neighbor down the road and he won't spend money to fix anything unless he really has too. He said it started leaking a few years ago and just never got around to fixing it.
I love the shop. I wish I had something like that here on my property.
Over the long weekend I plan on fixing the back brakes on the daughters truck, fix the AC on her boyfriends truck and a few things around the property since it's not bitterly cold. Once it gets and stays cold I am not very motivated to work outside. I am already looking forward to our beach trip in April!!

I guess it cheaper to keep buying gear oil vs the few dollars for a seal.
When ever we get the house built, Lexie has already said I will have a shop. She is tired of me working on everything outside.

I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving, at least we survived another feast with the kids, and grand kids coming to the house. The house cleared out two hours ago, and got the tree setup for Gail to decorate tomorrow.
Have to pickup a battery for Gail's MKX in the morning then off to the shop, and back to work on the truck. Next is Merry Christmas, oh boy.
We had a great Thanksgiving, it was just us and the daughters boyfriend. I took up my duties as official dish washer, counter wiper and honey can you get me.... It's been a long time that I was home for the holidays 2 years in a row, it's nice.
It was little man's first Thanksgiving! He liked the turkey, mashed potatoes and cheesecake, not so fond of the green beans and stuffing.
I called this morning and got my health care moved over from active duty to retired. Less than 50 bucks a month for health insurance, man what a steal!!! Dental is where they get you.
Glad little man enjoyed his first Thanksgiving, but you may not fully retire for a while if he keeps up a good appetite.
I love long weekends, more time for the truck. Got the new tires on the original wheels installed along with the front trim, lights, and bumper.
Tomorrow the windshield, and side molding I hope.
The truck is looking awesome Bob. I didn't get anything done as the wife wanted to get a Christmas tree and take our little man to see the big man. Luckily I snapped this picture on my phone just before he looked up at Santa and busted out crying. I was hoping with me having a beard he would not be so scared but no such luck. I think he would have done better if he had taken his afternoon nap.
