Front ABS issue?

2003 F150 5.4L 4x4

I recently replaced my entire front end, new calipers, pads, rotors, steering knuckles, shocks, upper & lower control arms, inner & outer tie rods.

During the last few MPH before coming to a complete stop, the front left pulses, feels like the abs is activating on that wheel. It only does it probably from 3 mph down to a stand still.

The abs sensor was a bit stubborn taking out during the front end rebuild, I'm wondering if it got damaged, or if there could be something else going on?

Over torquing the front discs can distort them and cause this problem.
Or one disc is out of spec.
Good luck.

I think you're referring to brake shudder. Abs sensors read from a ring that is not attached to the disc.

I found my problem, the little wire is severed, time for a new sensor:

you should have had an ABS light on if the wire was broken... would not pass startup continuity test.

True but there are two ends to that broken wire, and if they're both touching the metal inside the knuckle, it'll still make a complete circuit. Safe bet I need a new one though!
