Exclamation Oil pressure problem try everything really need help!

So here we go again two weeks ago came out to the truck at the end of work and no start played with them the ficm and unplug the icp nothing towed home put it one the scan Ipr 0 change it out started up ran for about a day. As I was coming home from it been running about a hour die. Put it on the scan again no ficm played with it little got to it start for a short time then die. I had a lot of problems with the ficm in my pass so i pony up and brought a bulletproof ficm $750 later still no start, Ipr still at 0 and icp is working properly. Changed the hpop it was free cause it was under the warranty I have, this hpop on this truck a year and it seals on its injectors. One thing I've notice and already dress it was that my oil cap was too big for my oil filter. Now the Ipr only building up 22pis. This is where at right now I'm going to do a air pressure test the next coming days. Just seeing anyone got so helpful advice on this nightmare of a problem I'm having.

Diesel on

Before you do an air test get an OEM oil filter AND cap and try again. It may take a fair amount of cranking to bleed all the air out of the HPO system, don't kill the batteries.

No giving up yet

Sorry taking so long update you guys on this problem. So far ive that oil filter cap to the right one, change the oil because there was good amount diesel in it "papper towel test" the diesel in the fuel most been from when injector #8 lefted 8 months ago must just be left over. So after all that done did another air test no leaks sounds good and don't worry I commend the ipr close. So this what im seen on my scan tool before the oil change
Ipr 22psi most after a 20s crank this Is before I did the cap and oil change
After everything now I can get it up 100psi after 20s of cranking.

Before truck stoped running no white smoke or anything out the tile pipe. Is there another diesel might getting into my oil system because don't why can't get above 100psi when everything stealed tight. Also been cranking on for over a hour with good batteries. Really need help with one guys!!!

Your truck can only leak from 3 places... If you have no leaks in the injector seals, nipple cups and/or the stand pipes.. and the new HPOP was from the dealer.... it's bad again! Ford has a horrible record of making these model years bad from the get-go. Why you read pages upon pages of posts saying 03/04 HPOP issues... all the tests you've done indicate it's bad... it makes 100psi.

Now I will tell you, it takes about 4-5 rounds or cranking about 20-30 seconds each round to remove the air. Use the starter wire on the passenger fender to do the cranking so it removes the FICM from the equation and doesn't burn it out or just pull the relay. After you cranked it 4 or 5 times for around 30 seconds each time replace the relay/ use the key and fire the truck... check the real pressure.

Then if it only makes 100psi... Get your money back and then go buy the Adrenaline pump.

One more time... remove all the air by cranking it with relay removed 4 or 5 times for 20-30 seconds each time. This allows the starter to cool, give it a few minutes between tries, keep the charger hooked up, let it sit, have a couple sips of a cool one, crank again, let it sit, crank again...
then after 5 times and about an hour of this crap... fire the truck and check the pressure.

New problem diesel in oil maybe?

So my second go around with the hpop was success this must have been my 12 time doing high pressure oil pump in a 6.0 in general and I'm only 24 years old funny **** theses things love to go bad really no matter what you do. So from that the be running awesome for last two weeks, got the new bulletproof ficm in it and she's loving it. Come out today at end of work and try to start the truck crank no start. Played with everything no luck. Open the oil filter cap notice oil looked really running and smell wired but not diesel. Did the paper towel test come up from diesel, I'm going to send a sample off for testing. Change the oil two weeks ago. Get the trucked towed home cost $10 thank you geico lol. Buddy of jokes around try starting the truck while the tow truck is still there. Started right up in one quick hit. Only I notice happened to the truck on its way home is the driver had one his hooks wage between the frame and fuel sending unit causing it to leak a little diesel. That's only that I can think of that might help the fixs it self. Really lose on this one hook it the labtop everything if just fine on icp ipr ficm and cooling temps between oil cooler and egr cooler. Pleas help!!
