I have installed 2 clusters in my truck and on both clusters the speedometer did not work correctly. Since my cab is off I was able to see that the sheath around the cable close to the transmission end is frayed and looks pretty torn up. I would like to replace it while the truck is torn apart but there seem to be alot of options. There is an electrical plug at the transmission side of it that I am assuming is for the cruise control but my truck will not have that.
Has anyone got a part number that I can search for or be able to point me in the right direction for a replacement?
