Number dummy help

When taking my fenders off during my cab swap there were alot of clips that broke. I am hoping you may be able to help me find the right ones. They are the clips that the 8mm head bolts went through on the core support and other places.

I found this site that seems to have the right ones but I just want to make sure before purchasing. They seem to have the correct bolts and clips I believe.

Extruded U Nut M6-1.0 Screw Size

https://www.clipsandfasteners.com/Pr...12160&CartID=1

Any help will be appreciated.

Sorry, cannot help you, there's no pic of the radiator support hardware, not listed in the text section either.

Parts departments and body shops carried a wide assortment of hardware they sourced from places like Au-Ve-Co. So when hardware was required, it was "matched up."

Suggest you go to Fastenal and match it up.

I'm not NumberDummy, but I think I might have something that will help. Start on my web site here: Front Clip - ???Gary's Garagemahal. Click on the links to Fenders and Aprons, Hood, etc and then click on the fastener you are looking for. Most have pictures and links to sources.

And if you don't find it there then PM me with a description of which fastener you are looking for.

I looked at the pic of the radiator support (and posted it), then in the text section listing the radiator support. There's no clips listed.

But, I didn't think to look at the grille and etc. pic. 1979 and earlier catalogs not only show every clip imaginable for the radiator support in pics, but are also listed in the text sections.

Now the question I have is, do you have the Ford Standard Parts Catalog that lists the specs for all these metric clips? If you don't, I do.

These would be the little buggers right here.
N623342-S2 - ???Gary's Garagemahal

They are used all over the truck when it comes to the front clip. Instead of going to napa I will go by Fastenal and see if I can get a box of 50 cause thats about how many seemed like broke when taking it all apart. Thanks Gary.

There are 12 still available from Ford. 54 FoMoCo dealers also have them, but with four exceptions, have less than 10.

Green Sales has none, neither does Carpenter. No dealer in AL-FL-MS has any.

Bill - Yes, I have the Standard And Utility Parts Catalog, but thanks for asking. I also have the Auevco catalog. Between the two I can usually find most fasteners.

David - Yes, they are used in many places, so getting a box is a good idea.

I was at a Ford dealer several years ago, so was the Au-Ve-Co salesman. I hadn't seen him since I retired.

I asked for and got a catalog, but he said, "Don't tell any of your 'old car friends' about me.

Most of these people are cheapskates, only want to buy a couple...and I'm not selling a couple when the quantity of the boxes contain at least 25."

I don't usually buy a couple of fasteners since the cost of shipping is usually far greater than the cost of the parts. However, I did buy a single bolt recently because whomever had it wanted $10/bolt.
