Good point Eric , it has to be a 6 point 22 mil socket on a impact

You don't want to fill with premixed coolant. You want the concentrate.
You can then later use the premixed for topping off.

If you don't them the distilled water that you used for the rinse will
dilute the coolant too much.

DH drives a logging truck and his company buys the Cat premix in bulk. We can get it at their cost, but that really doesn't help for the initial change-over.
I called the local dealer and they only stock the premix, but a bigger city north of us carries the concentrate. Local guy said they could have it shipped here but it would cost an extra $12.50 per gallon! My neighbour works up there so he's picking it up for me today.

More details.

Total cooling system capacity including the degas bottle is 27.5 qts. If you drain the radiator by the lower hose or the draincock you'll remove 1/2 the system capacity--about 14 qts. Therefore it takes 14 qts of 100% coolant added back to the system to get a 50/50 mix if you do a complete flush and fill.
