Ok so i have an 03 navigator it started having issues after my sunroof started leaking. I have fixed the sunroof but it was leaking down the driver side a frame down to the floorboards . Im not positive but i think some kind of module or something got wet cause i lost liftgate ,folding seats , remote entry , door ajar sensors and seats climate , ive looked to see if i could see anything but i fail to visually see anything wrong please help me thank you .
Idk what got wet i was assuming it was a module but not really sure i was hoping to maybe find someone that maybe had a similar issue that could shed some light on the situation ive looked down there but cant visually see anything effected
The GEM module (if equipped) is attached to the fuse box under the dash by the driver's left leg. They were notorious for getting wet and causing all sorts of electrical issues. I don't remember offhand if the 03 still used a GEM or if 02 was the last year.

I dont believe the 03 has a gem module all i see is an wire cluster on the driver side
On my 03, same thing sunroof leaked. I had plugged drain holes on sunroof and when it overflowed it ran down passenger side and would drench the fuse box. A lot of weird things happened. I'm still fighting the "open liftgate problem".
I took out my fuse box and tore it completely apart and dried and cleaned all the contacts. It fixed everything but the liftgate ajar problem. You may have to do the same.
To clean the sunroof drains I ran a thin wire down the holes, then blew them out with my air compressor. The drains now work like they should.
Check the passenger side of your navy, if the floor is wet or there is any moisture on the fusebox wires, you need to do as i did, dry it all out and it may fix your problems. Hope this helps.
