This is the only thing i have seen on the inter-web. Looks like its going to be locked up pretty tight like the 2013-up dodges. I have reached out to them for more info, im sure i wont hear back.

I don't follow Dodge/ram/fiat very much, so I have no idea what the latest and greatest is with that brand, or the problems that are found on them.
But what do you mean by "Locked up pretty tight like the 2013-up dodges"?
Did they make it impossible to tune them now? If so, that can't be sitting well with the cummins diehards.
And my goodness, they should do something about those mirrors that they put on those trucks. Looks like something you would get in a 1990 model.

The ones I understand tuning are those with the cab/chassis vehicles which are at much lower HP/torque right from the start. Many of the V-10s wind up in class c motor coaches and are extremely lethargic as stock. Some of the better RV sites delve into this world and create many happier campers. Some have down right disparaging comments about the large engine performance and disproportionate use of gas/fuel considering the reputation V10 and PSD.

I've talked to a couple tuners and they say it shouldn't be long before something is out.

Awful funny how we live in the land of the free but yet everyone wants to drag you across the coals if you do something to your truck that they don't approve of, whether it be lift, wheels, tires, tuning, or doing a little burnout. Who cares? If they bought the truck they can modify to suit their taste and needs.

While I'm not going to say I agree with the EPA, it's not just about YOU and YOUR TRUCK, it's about how it affects ME and MY FAMILY with the soot coming out of that truck. It's been proven that diesel soot is a carcinogen. It's the same as smoking in a restaurant in the table next to me. It's not about taking away your freedom, it's about protecting that big unalienable right of others: LIFE.

While it's not the same, being the land of the free doesn't give you the right to pull out a gun and shoot me for just standing here.

Well that sounds like a typical liberal response. No one was talking about deleting and rolling coal. There are many other reasons to tune a truck.

Where did that phrase "rolling coal" come from?

It's not like it that smoke makes your towing capacity or payload go up. The only thing you are doing is dumping a ton of really nasty crap into the atmosphere.

Call it liberal if you want, though I'm very anti-liberal. I vote Republican most of the time because I agree with their policies more than Dems. To me, yours is more liberal because it is all about ME and WHO CARES ABOUT OTHERS. It's all about ME ME ME. I'm just stating that being 'the land of the free' does not give you the right to step on the rights of others.

And it doesn't have to be rolling coal to put more pollutants than allowed in the air. Tune all you want, as long as it still meats emissions regulations, no harm, no foul. One truck isn't a big deal, but multiply that by the 250k PowerStroke diesels sold every year and you begin to see a problem. I have 3 young kids, and I care about the quality of the Earth that we are going to leave to them. As much as I hate the emissions equipment on my truck, and the fact that I have to burn more fuel to have fewer emissions (doesn't make sense does it? ), the quality of life and clean air for my kids (and your kids and grandkids) is more important to me. BTW, I'm putting solar panels up to cover nearly 100% of my electricity usage too.

Anyway, I'm not going any further off topic.

I don't think anybody has an issue with a slight tune that is going to give a small tweak to your vehicle. Thing is...that's about ...5% maybe of the tunes being used. You ever watch powerstrokehelp's youtube channel? He is based outside of Atlanta GA. He talks about all of the idiots down here who as he says "gets these industrial nitro tune" or something to that fact and they just wanna look cool and go fast. In the process they thrash their trucks, look like jerks and pollute the environment horribly.

I see this EVER.SINGLE.DAY down here in SE Georgia.

You know how many people have asked me what I am going to do to my truck when they found out I had ordered a '17 SD?????? I just look at them like they are crazy and tell them "now why would I want to void a warranty on a motor thats between $10-$15k? And also why would I want to sink all of that money into it when the thing already costs 70K off the shelf just to break it"? They look at me with a blank stare half the time and don't get it. Then every now and then I get a high performance light bulb across from me who gets it. Usually it's the dim one's though who I have found don't get it. Then again they never will.

Just don't get some peoples thinking by modifying my truck I'm stepping on your rights. I don't agree or like a lot of the modified trucks on the road today but to each their own.

If I'm sitting at a table in a restaurant, and you come sit in a table right next to me and light up a cigarette, are you stepping on my right to breathe clean, non-cancer causing air? Yes, yes, you are. Same goes for modding a truck to produce more emissions. When you negatively affect someone's health, you are stepping on their rights. Simple. We all breathe the same air. By polluting yours, you are also polluting mine.

BTW, I'm not talking EPA-compliant tunes, lift kits, etc. Only removing emission equipment and making your truck pollute more than acceptable levels.
