Having some issues with my Absolute Performance CAI
So I installed the CAI yesterday, and it ended up throwing a P0402 code. It also was acting strange and robbing my power. I was seeing only about 18 psi when i usually get 23 or so when punching it. Throttle response was also bad. So I took it off, checked all connections make sure nothing was knocked loose, and put it back on. Same result.
So I put the stock intake back on and immediately gained power and was back to normal with the exception of the CEL still on.
Well today was driving around on the stock intake and the CEL went away and everything was back to normal. So I tried the CAI again. This time I cleaned the MAF. Well same result with the loss in power and laggy throttle response but no CEL. Any idea what could be going on? Altitude is 6500ft. I am not knocking the kit I just want to figure out the issue because I know others have had success with it.
